Bam: The High Commissioner of Bam Province, Karim Ou©draogo, on Tuesday called on students from the Kongoussi Provincial High School to embrace civic-mindedness, discipline, and patriotism during the monthly national flag-raising ceremony in the province.

Addressing the assembled students and officials, Ou©draogo reiterated the Burkinabe government’s commitment to cultivating exemplary citizens through initiatives like the National Days of Patriotic Commitment and Civic Participation (JEPPC), and the new requirement for compulsory patriotic immersion for students who pass exams. He conveyed the President of Faso’s message that a successful revolution is rooted in order and discipline.

Ou©draogo also paid tribute to teachers and the country’s security forces, expressing his hope that students would grow into engaged citizens who uphold Burkinabe values.
