High Commissioner Urges Active Participation in Revolution at Gourcy Ceremony

Zondoma: The official flag-raising ceremony for January was held at the High Commission in Gourcy, where High Commissioner Aboubacar Sidiki Nab© called upon the citizens to actively engage in the ongoing revolution within the country.

According to Burkina Information Agency, High Commissioner Aboubacar Sidiki Nab© presided over the ceremony on Monday, emphasizing the significance of the event as a testament to each citizen's patriotic commitment. He acknowledged the difficulties faced in the previous year and expressed optimism that 2026 would mark a victory for the nation's security forces.

The High Commissioner highlighted the economic progress achieved in 2025, noting the acceleration towards national sovereignty that led to unprecedented financial autonomy. Development initiatives have also resulted in food self-sufficiency, a significant milestone for the province. He urged key stakeholders to intensify their efforts to ensure the revolution's success, which he described as a model worthy of preservation.
