High Commissioner Sangar© Extends New Year’s Greetings at Passor© Flag-Raising Ceremony

Passor: The High Commissioner of Passor© Province, Daouda Sangar©, presided over the monthly flag-raising ceremony in the courtyard of the High Commission in Yako on Monday, January 5, 2026. He also took the opportunity to extend his New Year's greetings to the assembled dignitaries.

According to Burkina Information Agency, this first ceremony of 2026 brought together the constituted bodies of the province of Passor©, who came to reaffirm their attachment to republican values, through the solemn performance of the national anthem.

Taking advantage of this symbolic setting, the High Commissioner, Daouda Sangar©, presented his New Year's greetings to all the constituted bodies of the province. Mr. Sangar© also extended his wishes for health, peace, and prosperity to his staff, collaborators, and development partners.

The provincial authority also congratulated all administrative and technical actors for their efforts in 2025 which contributed to the province's influence and stability.

"I urge everyone to redouble their efforts to stay the course so that our province remains strong and resilient," he said, while expressing his gratitude to the Combat Forces for their constant commitment to maintaining security and stability in the area.

The ceremony concluded in an atmosphere of cohesion, solidarity and renewed commitment to meet the challenges of 2026.
