Tanghin-Dassouri: The High Commissioner of Kadiogo Province, Maurice Konat©, officially launched the development process of the Communal Development Plan (PCD) 2026-2030 in Tanghin-Dassouri, focusing on a participatory and inclusive approach.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the meeting convened representatives from various sectors, including administration, decentralized technical services, civil society organizations, community structures, development partners, and customary and religious leaders. The initiative aims to equip Tanghin-Dassouri with a strategic tool to address current social, economic, and security challenges.
The High Commissioner emphasized the importance of setting clear, realistic, and shared objectives with the new PCD to ensure a better future for Tanghin-Dassouri. Maurice Konat© called for a participatory and equitable process that addresses the specific needs of all social groups, including young people, women, people living with disabilities, agricultural producers, traders, students, and the elderly.
Boureima Belemnaba, the first vice-president of the special communal delegation of Tanghin-Dassouri, highlighted that the PCD is a significant instrument for guiding local development efforts, serving as a compass for planning investments and mobilizing necessary resources for municipal projects.
This initiative marks the start of a process aimed at creating a consensual, inclusive, and operational document to effectively steer local public action over the next five years.
