Dano, On the national day commemorating the martyrs of the 2014 popular insurrection, High Commissioner Bernadette Adenyo/Sermé called for unity to put an end to ongoing loss of life.
The ceremony, held at the Dano high police station, was synchronized nationally with a minute of silence observed at 10:00 am.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the minute of silence serves as a moment of introspection for all of Burkina Faso, and she raised the question, “What must we do to put an end to this vicious circle?” In her concluding remarks, she encouraged parents to guide the youth, steering Burkina Faso towards a brighter future.
