Ganzourgou: The High Commissioner of Ganzourgou province, Aminata Sorgho/Gouba, presided over a ceremonial flag-raising event at the Provincial Directorate of Preschool, Primary and Non-Formal Education (DPEPPNF), marking the first phase of the National Days of Patriotic Commitment and Citizen Participation (JEPPC) 2025.
According to Burkina Information Agency, this traditional monthly ceremony, held every first Tuesday, brought together directors and heads of provincial services, DPEPPNF agents, leaders of civil society organizations, and representatives of the provincial coordination of citizen monitoring. A notable feature of this event was its alignment with the initial phase of JEPPC 2025.
The national anthem, sung in the Moor© language, accompanied the flag-raising, offering an opportunity for the High Commissioner to commend the unity symbolized by the national colors and to express gratitude for the ongoing commitment to civic duty and patriotism. Ms. Sorgho/Gouba took the occasion to acknowledge the efforts planned by participants, emphasizing the importance of continuing these actions beyond the official timeframe of the JEPPC.
Gratitude was extended to the DPEPPNF for hosting the event and to the provincial directorate of the national police for their support in the military aspect of the ceremony.
