High Commissioner Leads Community Cleanup Effort at High Commission

Ouagadougou: The High Commissioner of the province of Nahouri, Si© Aristide Mohamed Kam, in collaboration with local active forces, led a sanitation initiative at the high commission of P´ on Saturday, April 5, 2025.



According to Burkina Information Agency, the event saw participation from the community, including defense and security forces, directors, department heads, opinion leaders, and civil society organizations. Armed with tools such as machetes, rakes, and brooms, they commenced the cleanup at 7 a.m., focusing on enhancing the cleanliness of the High Commission’s courtyard.



This initiative followed the successful launch of the national days of patriotic commitment and citizen participation on March 26, 2025. During the launch, participants engaged in ceremonial activities such as raising the national flag and reading the message from the President of Faso. The April 5 cleanup was a continuation of these efforts, aiming to ensure a healthier work environment for the provincial authority and its staff.



At the conclusion of the cleanup, High Commissioner Kam expressed gratitude towards the participants for their concerted efforts in this community endeavor. He urged the public to embrace the theme of the event, “For order and discipline: I commit myself,” to foster individual responsibility in nation-building.



Furthermore, the High Commissioner called upon customary and religious leaders to promote messages of peace, social cohesion, and unity within the community.
