High Commissioner Karim Ou©draogo Launches BEPC 2026 Exams at Kongoussi Provincial High School

Noumbiel: The High Commissioner of the Bam province, Karim Ou©draogo, officially launched the written tests of the Brevet d'©tudes du premier cycle (BEPC), 2026 session, on Tuesday morning at the Kongoussi Provincial High School, where he encouraged the candidates, gave advice and opened the first envelope containing the subjects.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the High Commissioner addressed the candidates before the start of the exams, urging them to remain calm, focused, and to rely on their own efforts to succeed in the exam. He also wished them every success before proceeding with the formal opening of the first envelope.

Midon Coulibaly, the provincial director of Secondary Education and Vocational and Technical Training of Bam, stated that the province has registered 2,379 candidates this year, distributed among several juries. "This year, we have 2,379 registered candidates spread across 8 juries, including 1 in Bourzanga. We also have 5 secondary centers and 137 examiners mobilized for the marking phase," he explained.

The provincial director emphasized that all organizational and security arrangements have been made to ensure the smooth running of the examination, with the involvement of jury presidents, secretaries, supervisors and the support of the Defense and Security Forces (FDS). "Until this morning, everything was going well. Things started well and everyone is at their post," assured Mr. Coulibaly.
