CAIRO — Hezbollah has categorically denied recent Israeli allegations that its forces have crossed into Lebanese territories, describing the claims as entirely unfounded.

According to Namibia Press Agency, Hezbollah's media officer, Mohammad Afif, refuted on Tuesday Israel's assertion that its forces had entered Lebanon. "No direct ground clashes have occurred between the resistance fighters and the occupation forces," stated Afif. He emphasized that Hezbollah's fighters are fully prepared to face any Israeli troops attempting to invade Lebanese soil. Moreover, Afif remarked that recent attacks on key Israeli military sites were just the initial phase of a potentially broader confrontation.

The Islamic Resistance has claimed responsibility for launching Fadi 4 missiles at the Glilot base and the Mossad headquarters, both significant Israeli intelligence installations located near Tel Aviv. Additionally, Hezbollah targeted the Doviv barracks and Israeli forces near the Rosh Pina settlement with Falaq rockets and a barrage of other missiles, respectively. These military actions follow Israel's expanded war aims, which now include safeguarding northern communities previously evacuated in response to attacks from Lebanese territory.

Meanwhile, on Tuesday morning, Israeli forces executed multiple airstrikes and artillery bombardments across several towns and villages in southern and eastern Lebanon. These attacks resulted in seven fatalities and ten injuries, as reported by Lebanese military sources. The injured parties were transported to Marjeyoun Governmental Hospital for treatment.

This escalation in violence is part of an ongoing conflict between Hezbollah and Israel, which intensified after Israel announced broader military objectives against Hezbollah. This includes attacks coordinated in solidarity with Hamas and Palestinian factions in Gaza since last October.
