Cairo: Dr. Jaleela bint Al Sayed Jawad Hasan, Minister of Health of Bahrain, met with her Egyptian counterpart, Dr. Khaled Abdelghaffar, Deputy Prime Minister for Human Development Affairs and Minister of Health and Population of Egypt, to discuss strengthening health sector cooperation between the two nations.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the talks took place on the sidelines of the second edition of the Global Conference on Population, Health and Human Development (PHDC’24), held in Egypt’s New Administrative Capital. The meeting reviewed various aspects of cooperation in the health sector, reflecting the strong ties between Bahrain and Egypt.
Minister Dr. Al Sayed praised the excellent organization and the quality of discussions at the conference, highlighting the focus on challenges and innovative solutions aimed at enhancing global health. The ministers emphasized their commitment to enhancing cooperation through the exchange of expertise and investment in the health sector, aiming to advance serv
ices within joint Arab efforts. The dialogue underscored the robust Bahrain-Egypt relations across various sectors, with a particular focus on health and human development.
