Handover of Duties: Four New Heads of Establishments Assume Roles in Yatenga

Ouahigouya: Drissa B©lem, the Regional Director of Secondary Education and Vocational and Technical Training in the North, has installed four high school and college administrators as heads of establishments in the departments of S©gu©n©ga and Kosouka. The installation ceremony took place last Monday, taking advantage of the school holidays to complete the series of installations in the North region.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the ceremony was relocated and held within the regional directorate to officially install the new heads of establishments from the second class of administrators trained at the National School of Administration (ENAM). Drissa B©lem, on behalf of the Minister of Secondary Education and Vocational and Technical Training, officially installed Isoufou Maga, Adama Ou©draogo, Hamado Ou©draogo, and Alphonse Zerbo in their respective roles.

The newly appointed school heads expressed gratitude for the trust placed in them and acknowledged the demands of their mission. They emphasized the need for perseverance and commitment to address the current challenges in education within the northern region of Burkina Faso.

Drissa B©lem encouraged the new leaders to utilize their management skills to support their staff, students, and local education partners. He offered practical advice and reminded them of their roles as "VDPs of education," underscoring their responsibility to advance education in Yatenga.
