Haji Trust Foundation Aids Flood-Affected Residents in Ijara with Essential Supplies

The Haji Trust Foundation has taken a significant step to support residents in Hulugho, Ijara, and Bothai Sub-Counties, who are currently facing challenges due to heavy rains. The foundation distributed food and non-food items to destitute residents and orphans in these areas.

According to Kenya News Agency, Mohamed Hussin Haji, and Abdi Elmoge, the foundation airlifted essential supplies including rice, beans, cooking oil, mosquito nets, soap, wheat flour, and blankets to the affected areas. The supplies were particularly distributed to orphanage centers. The residents expressed their gratitude for the foundation’s humanitarian efforts, recognizing it as an empathetic and solidary action towards the needy. The foundation, run by the late Yussuf Haji’s sons, Senator Abdul Mohammed and Nordin Haji, Director General of the National Security Intelligence Service, has been actively involved in such charitable activities.
