Guinea Secures $60 Million from World Bank to Enhance Internet Access

In Guinea, the government announced a significant investment of $60 million to improve internet access across the country. This development was confirmed by the Minister of Posts, Telecommunications, and the Digital Economy.

According to Africa News Agency, The minister revealed that this major agreement with the World Bank was finalized on December 14 under the leadership of the President of the Transition, Colonel Mamadi Doumbouya. This investment is part of the broader West Africa Regional Digital Integration Program, aimed at enhancing digital connectivity and access in the region.
