Governor Otuoma Supports National Development Agenda

Busia: Busia Governor Paul Otuoma has vowed to support the National Government development agenda. Speaking at Mungatsi in Nambale Sub County on Monday, Otuoma emphasized his commitment to ensuring that all government initiatives aimed at benefiting the people are implemented in the county.



According to Kenya News Agency, the Governor highlighted that the county government receives 15 percent of the total revenue from the National Government. He stressed the importance of collaborating with the National Government to expedite development and benefit from other programs that are initiated. Otuoma urged leaders to set aside politics and focus on implementing the government’s development agenda, reminding them that campaigns will resume in 2027.



Governor Otuoma also cautioned residents against leaders who spread hatred among them and other leaders. He insisted that peace and unity must be prioritized for both the country and the county to develop effectively.
