Governor of Southwest Region Launches 2025 Baccalaureate Exams in Gaoua

Gaoua: The Governor of the Southwest region, Siaka Barro, officially launched the written exams for the baccalaureate, 2025 session, at jury No. 55 located at the Notre-Dame de l'Annonciation school complex in Gaoua.

According to Burkina Information Agency, this year, the Southwest region registered 3,617 candidates across 15 juries and six centers. These candidates are participating in seven different streams, including three in general education, three in vocational training, and one in technical education.

The launch ceremony was attended by members of the constituted bodies and stakeholders in the regional education system. During the event, Governor Barro addressed the candidates, offering them advice and urging them to avoid cheating, a common issue during exams. He also extended his best wishes to the candidates as they embark on this important phase of their academic journey.
