Ouagadougou: In favor of the rise of colors, the Governor of the Northern region, Issouf Ou©draogo, called on Monday to remain united to defeat terrorism. This solemn ceremony, which resembled a farewell, chaired by the region’s top official, brought together around the flag the provincial High Commissioners, regional directors, and other officials of the public administration and the defense and security forces.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the major act was the raising of the flag and the national anthem sung in chorus by all the constituted bodies of the region. In his message, Governor Ou©draogo returned to the multiple challenges where the populations gave the best of themselves in the face of the daily difficulties linked to the dual security and humanitarian crisis.
After listing the 8 points of the general policy statement of Prime Minister Rimtalba Jean Emanuel Ou©draogo, the Governor called on the constituted bodies to engage through an unparalleled mobilization around the orientations for a perfect implementation and support of the announced development actions.
Ou©draogo wished his colleagues and all the populations of the region a happy and prosperous New Year 2025 and urged them to continue “to remain united, committed, supportive and determined for the total victory over the terrorist hydra.”
