Governor of Nazinon Urges Closer Cooperation with Fighting Forces

Zoundweogo: The governor of the Nazinon region, Massadalo Yvette Nacoulma, called on Tuesday in Manga for the population to collaborate more with the fighting forces, expressing the solidarity of Nazinon with the brotherly people of Mali, bereaved by recent terrorist attacks, during the national flag-raising ceremony organized at the Regional Directorate of the Servants of the People.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the governor urged the public to be vigilant and more involved in the collaborative production of security. She emphasized the importance of using every platform to raise awareness about security cooperation. In her speech, she also expressed the region's solidarity with Malians who are grieving due to recent terrorist attacks.

Ms. Massadalo Yvette Nacoulma announced that the collection of speeches by the Head of State, "Captain Ibrahim Traore said," and the Manifesto of the Popular Progressive Revolution (RPP) are available at the governorate of Manga and will soon be accessible in other provinces of the region. The proceeds from these sales will support the Patriotic Support Fund, with the Manifesto priced at 1,000 FCFA and the collection at 15,000 FCFA.

The regional director of the Servants of the People, Brahima Pakodtogo, expressed gratitude for hosting the national flag-raising ceremony. He outlined the missions of his organization, which include monitoring labor legislation, providing information and advice to social partners, promoting social dialogue, and supporting the registration of populations for universal health insurance. Despite challenges, Mr. Pakodtogo assured of his commitment to the well-being of workers in the region.

Additionally, the ceremony highlighted the achievements of the region at the SNC Bobo 2026, presented by the regional director in charge of Culture, Didier Yameogo. The region secured ten awards, including two special and eight official ones, a result that was well-received and commended by members of the constituted bodies.
