Governor Nacoulma/Sanou Reports Stability and Progress in Center-South Region


OUAGADOUGOU – In a recent meeting with President Ibrahim Traoré, Governor Massadalo Yvette Nacoulma/Sanou of the Center-South region expressed satisfaction with the improved security and ongoing development efforts in her region. The discussion occurred during a session where the President met with administrative leaders to assess the security and infrastructure issues facing the Center-South.



According to Burkina Information Agency, the audience with President Traoré was fruitful, with significant advancements reported in both security and regional development. The Governor highlighted the establishment of calm in the region, which has enhanced the local communities’ ability to conduct their daily activities without fear. She noted that this improvement in security conditions is a direct result of increased mobility for administrative heads and enhancements in the operational capabilities of security forces, including the opening of new security posts.



Further, Governor Nacoulma/Sanou detailed progress in infrastructure development, such as the construction of the Manga regional hospital and renovations of the Manga multipurpose room. She also mentioned the completion of planning for the paving of national road No. 29, which is expected to significantly improve transportation links in the region. The Governor concluded her remarks by reiterating her commitment to achieving the goals set during the transitional period of governance.
