Governor Highlights November Supply Efforts in Arbinda and Gorgadji.

Dori: The governor of the Sahel region, Lieutenant-Colonel Fabien Rodolphe Sorgho, indicated yesterday Tuesday that the supply of the towns of Dori, Arbinda, and Gorgadji were the highlights of the month of November 2024.

According to Burkina Information Agency, Lieutenant Colonel Fabien Rodolphe Sorgho emphasized that, during November 2024, the supply of key towns and the commemoration of the 64th anniversary of the National Armed Forces were significant events in the region. The governor made these remarks in Dori following a ceremony for the raising of the national colors.

As part of the national army’s anniversary celebrations, the region saw various activities, including a civil-military cross-country race, a weapons ceremony, a blood drive, and the donation of food and cleaning materials. The governor took this opportunity to extend birthday wishes to the defense and security forces, as well as volunteers dedicated to safeguarding Burkina Faso’s security and territorial integrity.

own hall planned community days from November 21 to 24, 2024, and announced the governor’s appointment as a defense attaché to the United Nations permanent mission. The regional directorate of sports and leisure organized a sports event along with an inter-service tournament, which was won by the gendarmerie team.

Each month, the Sahel region’s constituted bodies conduct a national colors raising ceremony. In December, the regional directorate of secondary education of vocational and technical training hosted this event, with plans for the next session at the regional environmental directorate in January 2025.
