Government Launches Entrepreneurship Training for Vulnerable Youth in Luanda

Luanda: The Luanda Provincial Government (GPL) is conducting entrepreneurship training for 130 vulnerable young people aged 16-25, as part of the Social Inclusion and Women's Empowerment Program. The training covers areas such as pastry making, cooking, and crafts, ANGOP has learnt.

According to Angola Press News Agency, the initiative is aimed at girls from foster homes and vulnerable families, as well as women salespeople, and will span a duration of two months. This program is taking place under the motto 'Empowering Women, Transforming Lives.'

The training is being organized under the auspices of the Provincial Office for Social Action, Family and Gender Equality, in collaboration with the Association of Women Entrepreneurs of Luanda (ASSOMEL). This partnership aims to equip participants with skills that will enable them to improve their livelihoods and foster economic independence.
