Imam Aboubacar Kina led the Tabaski feast prayer this Wednesday, June 28, 2023 in Fada N’Gourma. He prayed for peace in Burkina Faso and wished a good winter season so that his brave peasants would have good harvests.

It was in front of the governor of the Eastern region, Colonel Hubert Yaméogo, accompanied by regional and communal authorities, representatives of other religious denominations and the Muslim faithful that Imam El-hadj Aboubacar Kina led the prayer. of Tabaski on the place of the martyrs of Fada N’Gourma.

In his sermon, the imam reminded the Muslim faithful of the importance of the Tabaski festival before imploring Allah to grant peace to Burkina Faso in particular and to the world in general.

He also wished a good winter season in the land of honest men so that his brave peasants would have good harvests.

The governor of the East region, Colonel Hubert Yaméogo, declared that “the celebration of Tabaski is an opportunity for us to show our gratitude to this community which hosts the displaced people and also to invite it to show sharing and solidarity in everyday life”.

“We wish a happy holiday to all Muslims. We have come to show them our solidarity, our fraternity and to pray with them to ask for security and peace for our country”, indicated the representative of the Catholic Church, Father Pascal Soubeiga.
