Gourma: The Basic Education District (CEB) of Fada N’Gourma 1 conducted a training session on March 25 and 26, 2025, in Fada N’Gourma to enhance the skills of office agents in developing activity programs, aiming to ensure quality education.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the educational supervisor, Armelle Oumou Sond©, communicated a message from the Head of the Fada N’Gourma 1 constituency, highlighting that this 48-hour training was initiated due to the challenges office heads face despite having mission letters. These challenges often hinder their ability to design and plan activities effectively.

The trainer, Loukman Ou©draogo, who leads the Planning Studies department at the provincial directorate in charge of primary education in Gourma, emphasized that the activity program has been a legislative requirement in Burkina Faso since 2017. It serves as a crucial tool for implementing and monitoring educational activities.

Throughout the training, Mr. Ou©draogo covered essential concepts related to the activity program and the various budgetary nomenclatures of the Ministry of Primary Education. This knowledge enables participants to outline actions with specific objectives based on their assigned missions.

Labidi Dahani, head of the preschool office, noted that the training provided valuable insights into developing an activity program. He appreciated the expertise of the trainer, which will aid in more efficient task execution and planning.

Hamidou Naba, head of the examinations and competitive examinations office, acknowledged that prior to the training, activity programs were often developed spontaneously, leading to inadequacies. He expressed confidence in his newly acquired skills to create a robust activity program.
