Gourma: The Burkina Faso Mining Participation Company (SOPAMIB-Boungou) handed over a large quantity of food and basic necessities worth a total of 21,240,000 CFA francs, for the benefit of the widows and orphans of the fighting forces in the Goulmou, Sirba, and Tapoa regions. The donation handover ceremony took place in Fada N'Gourma and was presided over by the governor of the Goulmou region, Ram Joseph Kafando, along with administrative, military, and paramilitary authorities.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the donation consists of 20 tonnes of maize, 20 tonnes of Bagrrice, 400 5-litre cans of oil, and 240 cartons of CITEC soap. The Director General of SOPAMIB-Boungou, Bassoma Aboubacar Traor©, stated that this solidarity action responds to the call launched by the highest authorities of Burkina Faso to support the families of the fighting forces.

Traor© emphasized the company's intent to show solidarity with these social groups, ensuring them that they are not alone. He expressed gratitude to those who fight day and night, often at great personal risk, for the defense of the homeland.

Governor Ram Joseph Kafando, representing the beneficiaries, expressed profound gratitude to SOPAMIB-Boungou for their gesture of solidarity. He commended the mining company's civic engagement and encouraged other companies and communities to support the families of those who make significant sacrifices for the nation's defense.
