GOURMA — The province of Gourma announced a significant achievement in the 2024 Primary Education Certificate (CEP) exams, with 5,919 candidates successfully passing, marking an 81.72% success rate. The results, released on Tuesday, include an almost equal distribution of successful candidates among girls and boys.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the province of Gourma saw 7,243 students participate in this year’s CEP exams despite ongoing security challenges. The gender breakdown of the candidates was nearly balanced, with 3,886 girls and 3,357 boys taking part, reflecting the community’s commitment to maintaining educational progress under difficult circumstances.
