Goulmou’s Secretary General Urges Government Branches to Enhance Collaborative Efforts

Gourma: The official flag-raising ceremony held at the National Institute for the Training of Education Personnel (INFPE) in Fada N'Gourma was overseen by Siaka Ouattara, the Secretary General of the Goulmou Region, who called for enhanced collaboration among government branches to better serve the nation.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the event, which took place on December 2, 2025, gathered the constituted bodies of the Goulmou region in a symbolic act of unity and national pride. Ouattara emphasized the importance of synergy among the decentralized services, urging all sectors to work collaboratively for effective outcomes.

Ouattara called upon the active forces of Gourma province to unite and collaborate, highlighting the diverse backgrounds of the participants who shared a common goal. He stressed the significance of civic values and directed his message particularly to the youth, urging public officials to take on guiding and advisory roles to support them.

He commended the INFPE Regional Director for hosting the ceremony and expressed gratitude for their role in organizing the last flag-raising event of the year. Ouattara expressed hope for a peaceful and healthy start to 2026, aiming to continue the tradition in support of human rights.

In his address to regional and provincial directors and department heads, Ouattara highlighted the importance of accessibility, humility, and punctuality in their duties, encouraging them to earn their salaries through diligence.

As Goulmou enters the month of solidarity, Ouattara encouraged actions benefiting the most vulnerable and announced the forthcoming arrival of the DEMICIRA torch, urging strong community mobilization for its reception.
