U­ge: The city of U­ge held a gospel music concert by Friar Samahina this Sunday with the aim of celebrating the artist’s 10-year career. The Gymnasium cinema, venue that hosted the show, was packed with people, mostly faithful from the various Catholic church parishes in the cities of U­ge and Negage, who enjoyed the singer’s songs.

According to Angola Press News Agency, during the event, the artist performed the best-known songs from his vast musical repertoire. In about four hours of entertainment, Friar Samahina was enthusiastically applauded by the public who sang along and danced to his songs. The show was also enlivened by the local comedy group called Os Bana U­ge.
