Gospel Group ‘Les ‰tendards de l’‰ternel’ Celebrates Decade of Music Ministry with New Maxi-Single

Houet: The gospel group Les ‰tendards de l'‰ternel presented their new maxi-single, entitled Reconnaissance, to the press in early December. This symbolic choice, according to its members, expresses their profound gratitude to God for all He has accomplished for them and through their musical ministry.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the group was founded in November 2015 in Bobo-Dioulasso and is composed of twenty-two members. It was born from the vision of uniting young Christians passionate about evangelism and determined to promote Christian values. Over the past ten years, Les ‰tendards de l'‰ternel, which translates to The Banners of the Eternal, have distinguished themselves with songs that convey hope, love, and faith, drawing inspiration from the spiritual experiences of their members and the realities of their community.

At the press conference marking their tenth anniversary, the group presented several songs, including "I ka na la Yesu ma," "Entre tes mains, Saint-Esprit, viens en moi," and "Jesus t'appelle." According to the group's leader, Ima Edmond, these compositions aim to "bring peace, restoration, and hope" to listeners.

Pastor Pierre Salia Gnienhoun, who was present at the ceremony, praised the group's achievements: "The group has done good work during these ten years and deserves to be congratulated. Seeking peace through song, in our time, is an approach to be encouraged."

Looking ahead, Les ‰tendards de l'‰ternel announced plans to produce new songs and videos to further strengthen their evangelical mission.
