Ghana : Central Bank maintains key rate at 30%

The Central Bank (BoG) announced that it had kept its key rate unchanged at 30%. Ghana had recorded an inflationary increase of 54.1% in December 2022 and fell significantly to stand at 40.1% in August 2023, a reduction of 14%. The pressure on prices was released and was more marked for foodstuffs, which fell by 20% to stand at 51.9% in August 2023.
