OUAGADOUGOU: The staff of the General Secretariat of the Government and the Council of Ministers, led by Mathias Traoré, officially registered for the Universal Health Insurance Scheme (RAMU) on Tuesday. This significant move marks a commitment to enhancing health coverage for government employees.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the registration was initiated by Mathias Traoré, the Secretary General of the Government, who was the first to enroll. His proactive involvement served as the starting signal for the enrollment process and underscored the importance of the initiative.
Mr. Traoré expressed his appreciation and support for the National Universal Health Insurance Fund (CNAMU) delegation present at the registration. He also extended an invitation to his colleagues to join RAMU, emphasizing that it is a key priority within the Government’s Action Plan for Stabilization and Development (PA-SD).
The leadership and staff of the General Secretariat and the Council of Ministers were fully engaged
in securing health insurance through RAMU, ensuring coverage for themselves and their families.
