Friendship Visit Strengthens Ties Between Burkina Faso and Mali: Prime Minister Received at Koulouba Palace

Bamako: As part of his friendship visit to Bamako, the Prime Minister of Burkina Faso, Rimtalba Jean Emmanuel Ou©draogo, was received in audience by the President of the Transition, Head of State of Mali, Army General Assimi Gota.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the Prime Minister was accompanied by several key officials, including the Minister of State, Minister of Defense and Veterans Affairs, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, the Minister Delegate to the Minister of Economy and Finance responsible for the Budget, the Minister of Sports, Youth and Employment, and the Ambassador of Burkina Faso to Mali. This delegation underscores the importance of the visit in fostering bilateral relations.

During the meeting, Prime Minister Ou©draogo conveyed fraternal greetings from Comrade Captain Ibrahim Traor©, President of Faso, to the President of the Transition of Mali. He expressed his gratitude for the discussions and the warm reception afforded to his delegation. "We received his wise advice and valuable guidance to continue the current momentum," he stated, emphasizing the focus on the well-being of the population and the pivotal role of youth in shaping the future of the Sahel region.
