Godfrey Thembokuhle Mgidi (39) and Christina Ncazane Mgidi (49) were remanded in custody by the Witbank Magistrate Court on Wednesday, 16 August 2023 for Fraud.

It is alleged that on 20 January 2015, the two company directors of Siyophomele Trading Pty Ltd defrauded the South African Revenue Services by unlawfully and intentionally submitting false documents to SARS claiming undue refund amounting to R996 236. 97.

The pair was remanded in custody and the case was postponed to 22 August 2023 for formal bail application.
