Franco-Arab School Nouridine Triumphs in Toece CEB Football Final

Toece: The Toece Basic Education District organized the closing of its sporting activities, highlighted by a football final where the Franco-Arab Nouridine school emerged victorious over Dagouma "A" with a narrow score of one goal to zero. The event marked the culmination of the 2026 sports calendar in the district.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the football final was held at the grounds of the Toece departmental high school. The match concluded with the Nouridine school claiming victory by the smallest margin possible. Local authorities were present to witness the event, which was part of the district's efforts to promote sports among young students.

Harouna Nana, President of the Special Delegation, emphasized the importance of such activities in fostering a spirit of competition, mutual aid, and solidarity among children. The success of the event was credited to the organizing committee, praised by the head of the CEB, Ousmane Congo, who also extended gratitude to the sponsor for supporting the initiative.

Donatien Zongo, who hails from the town and served as the event's patron, expressed his pride in being associated with the event. He encouraged students to respect their teachers and focus on their studies to achieve success in life. The sports activities were themed "Fulfillment and excellence through sport and culture in a reform school," highlighting the district's commitment to holistic education.
