FOUTOURI: The residents of Foutouri, located in the province of Komondjari, have collectively contributed 506,000 CFA francs to support national peace efforts, underscoring their ongoing commitment to the country’s Combatant Forces. The funds were officially handed over to the local military detachment in a ceremony that highlighted the community’s solidarity with President Ibrahim Traoré’s government.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the village chief of Foutouri presented the sum on behalf of the local population to the head of the Foutouri military detachment. This act of financial support is intended as a demonstration of the community’s unwavering support for the government’s efforts to reclaim and protect the nation. Mr. Monmini Sinare, President of the Special Delegation of Foutouri, stated that the money is earmarked for deposit into the Public Treasury.
The gesture reflects the residents’ dedication to peace and stability in a region that has faced ongoing security challenges. As part of a
