Minister of Foreign Affairs, Migration and Tunisians Abroad Nabil Ammar briefed African Union Commissioner for Political Affairs, Peace and Security Bankole Adeoye on Tunisia’s priorities during its term (2022-2024) as member of the Peace and Security Council (PSC) .
Ammar also shed light on the agenda of the Tunisian chairmanship of the PSC in April, mainly the holding of the 15th session of the PSC (late April) in Tunis.
The meeting with Adeoye was held Sunday in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, on the sidelines of the FM’s participation in the 36th ordinary session of the African Union.
The African Commissioner welcomed Tunisia’s proposals and commended its efforts in maintaining peace and security in the African continent.
