Addis Ababa: Gedion Timothewos, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ethiopia, held discussions this afternoon with Mahmoud Ali Youssouf, Chairperson of the African Union Commission (AUC). Their meeting centered on the forthcoming Africa Climate Summit and the Africa-CARICOM Summit, both of which Ethiopia will co-host in collaboration with the AU Commission.
According to Ethiopian News Agency, the discussions between the Chairperson and the Minister highlighted their mutual commitment to strengthening collaboration. Both parties emphasized the need for inclusive planning, collective ownership, and strategic coherence to ensure the successful execution of these high-level engagements.
