Football: Angola Joins Group C of U-17 Africa Cup of Nations

Angola: Angola is in Group C of the Under-17 Africa Cup of Nations (CAN'2026), to be held from May 13 to June 2 in Morocco, along with Mozambique, Mali, and Tanzania, the tournament organizer has announced.

According to Angola Press News Agency, the draw for the competition was held Wednesday in Cairo, Egypt, by the Confederation of African Football (CAF). The draw placed the host nation, Morocco, in Group A, alongside regional rivals such as Tunisia, Egypt, and Ethiopia.

The group allocations for the tournament are as follows: Group A includes Morocco, Tunisia, Egypt, and Ethiopia. Group B features Ivory Coast, Cameroon, Uganda, and DR Congo. Group C, where Angola has been placed, consists of Angola, Mali, Tanzania, and Mozambique. Finally, Group D comprises Senegal, South Africa, Algeria, and Ghana.
