Focus Sport Academy Presents D2 Championship Title to Naaba Sanem

Ziniare: The Focus Sport Academy presented its second division (D2) championship title to the chief of Ziniare, His Majesty Naaba Sanem, during a visit to the royal palace. The event, held on Thursday, showcased the gratitude of the academy towards the community of Ziniare for their support throughout the successful season, which culminated in the team's promotion to the first division.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the delegation was led by the president of the academy, Izouma Sidibe. Sidibe took the opportunity to express appreciation to the local community and emphasized the academy's intent to strengthen its ties with Ziniare. He announced future plans for the construction of a new facility in the region, with its inauguration scheduled for the beginning of the next season. This move aims to solidify the academy's presence in Ziniare and further its commitment to local development.

Naaba Sanem, expressing satisfaction with the academy's initiative, reiterated the chieftaincy's dedication to supporting sports as a means of fostering social cohesion and peace. He extended his blessings to the club, highlighting football's role in bringing communities together.

Lebamoe Bognini, president of the Oubri League, was also present at the ceremony. He praised Focus Sport FC's promotion to D1 as a crucial advancement towards the professionalization of the Oubri regional league. Bognini encouraged other clubs in the region to emulate Focus Sport FC's example and strive for similar achievements.

As part of its upcoming season, Focus Sport FC is expected to host more than 15 matches at the Ziniare municipal stadium, further engaging the local community with top-tier football events.
