ADDIS ABABA – Foreign Affairs Minister Ambassador Taye Atske Selassie welcomed a delegation led by Lassina Zerbo, former Prime Minister of Burkina Faso and board member of the Tana Security Forum.

According to the Ethiopian News Agency, the meeting focused on preparations for the upcoming Tana Forum, an essential platform for discussing African-led initiatives in peace and security. The forum aims to foster African ownership over continental security issues and enhance proactive strategic management. Both dignitaries explored various logistical and thematic aspects to ensure the successful hosting of the forum, underscoring the importance of continuous dialogue among African leaders and stakeholders.
