Flag Raising Ceremony: The High Commissioner Commends the Unwavering Commitment of the Province’s Administrative and Judicial Actors

Yako: The High Commissioner of Passore Province, Daouda Sangare, presided over the official flag-raising ceremony at the Yako courthouse, marking the start of administrative activities for the month of May. On this occasion, Mr. Sangare commended the strong mobilization and unwavering commitment of the province's administrative and judicial actors.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the ceremony was attended by directors and heads of departments, as well as other members of the provincial judiciary. In a spirit of unity and cohesion, the participants gathered in the courtyard of the Yako courthouse to honor the national flag. At the solemn moment of the raising of the flag, the audience sang in unison the national anthem, the Ditany¨, performed in the Moore language, a symbol of patriotism and attachment to the values of the Nation.

The High Commissioner, Daouda Sangare, reiterated his congratulations for the strong mobilization and constant commitment of the administrative and judicial actors of the province of Passore. Mr. Sangare recalled the importance of this ceremony, which reflects national unity and collective responsibility in preserving peace and social cohesion.

Taking the floor in turn, the president of the Yako High Court, Herve Deme, presented the courthouse and its various components. He detailed the organization and services available within his jurisdiction, while highlighting the fundamental role of justice in consolidating the rule of law.

Participants also received information about the "Yaka" police force and ongoing actions within the framework of Operation "Wibga", an initiative aimed at strengthening security and protecting the population in the province.
