Yako: The constituted bodies of Passore province assembled at the Yako town hall for the monthly flag-raising ceremony, overseen by High Commissioner Daouda Sangare. On this occasion, the province's top official lauded the substantial participation of attendees.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the flag-raising event in Passore province, held in a rotational manner, saw the presence of directors and department heads at the Yako town hall courtyard. Boukare Zomodo, President of the Special Delegation (PDS) of Yako, utilized the platform to provide a brief overview of the Yako town hall and elucidated the operation of the special delegation, which comprises a deliberative body and an executive body.
Additionally, Zomodo announced the forthcoming celebration of the 30th anniversary of the Municipal Police. In alignment with this milestone, a series of activities, including a popular cross-country race and open days, are slated to occur.
Issa Deme, President of the High Court (TGI) of Yako, addressed the gathering to announce the court's return to its newly refurbished premises. Deme conveyed his appreciation to national institutions and the local constituted bodies for their support and dedication, which played a role in the successful completion of the renovation project.
During the event, High Commissioner Sangare also announced that Yako would host the "DEME CIRA" caravan on December 12, 2025, urging all provincial organizations to mobilize efforts to ensure the event's success.
