Five Firefighters Complete Training in Computer Science and Applied English

Gourma: Five members of the 14th Fire and Rescue Company (CIS 14) of the National Fire Brigade (BNSP) completed a three-week training course in computer science and applied English in Fada N'Gourma. The training, which concluded on Friday, November 21, 2025, was organized by Roukiatou Service.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the head of Roukiatou Service, Harouna Maurice Dahani, stated that the training session covered several modules, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Publisher. The aim was to equip the participants with practical skills in document writing, data analysis, creating professional presentations, and designing communication materials.

Harouna Maurice Dahani emphasized that the program also included an introduction to English applied to the field of security and emergency response. This component was designed to enhance the firefighters' ability to communicate effectively in operational situations.

During the certificate presentation ceremony, the Unit Commander of CIS 14, Captain Omar Belemvire, praised the participants for their commitment, discipline, and willingness to advance their skills. He noted that the training would significantly enhance their knowledge of computer tools, which are crucial for executing their duties efficiently.
