Bobo-dioulasso: A fire in a gas store in the Farakan district of Bobo-Dioulasso causes material damage

The Second Fire and Rescue Company (CIS2) of Bobo-Dioulasso intervened promptly this Tuesday to contain and extinguish a fire that broke out in a store selling gas cylinders. The incident took place next to a computer and office equipment shop in sector 01 of the Farakan district, as reported by the National Fire Brigade (BNSP).

According to Burkina Information Agency, no loss of life was recorded in the incident. However, there was significant material damage observed at the site. The National Fire Brigade has called for strict adherence to safety standards for storing flammable products. They also emphasized the importance of keeping combustible materials away from such environments and installing first response equipment to prevent future occurrences.
