Windhoek: The Electoral Commission of Namibia on Friday announced the final results of the 2025 Regional Council election for the Tondoro Constituency in the Kavango West Region: The Swapo Party candidate, Joseph Sikongo Sivaku, emerged victorious with 2,644 votes.

According to Namibia Press Agency, the competition included an Independent Candidate, Kapumburu Andreas Shikongo, who secured 535 votes, placing second. The Independent Patriots for Change candidate, Hausiku Hawanga, received 126 votes, followed by the Popular Democratic Movement's Felemon Peter, who garnered 26 votes. Additionally, the commission reported that a total of 20 ballots were rejected during the process.
