Rehoboth: The Electoral Commission of Namibia on Thursday announced the final results of the 2025 Local Authority Election for the Rehoboth Local Authority in the Hardap Region.
According to Namibia Press Agency, the results of the election showed that the Swapo Party garnered a total of 3,713 votes. The Rehoboth Independent Town Management Association (RITMA) received 935 votes, while the Independent Patriots for Change (IPC) secured 795 votes. The United People's Movement (UPM) collected 787 votes, followed by the Popular Democratic Movement (PDM) with 573 votes. The Rehoboth Ratepayers Association (RRA) obtained 366 votes, Resident Enhancement for Housing and Opportunities (REHO) received 298 votes, and the United Democratic Front (UDF) had 241 votes.
A total of 7,708 votes were cast in the election, which determined the composition of the seven council seats. SWAPO secured three of these seats, while RITMA, IPC, UPM, and PDM each won one seat. The RRA, REHO, and UDF did not obtain any seats in the council.
