Gibeon: The Electoral Commission of Namibia on Thursday released the final results of the 2025 Regional Council Election for the Gibeon Constituency in the Hardap Region.

According to Namibia Press Agency, the Swapo Party candidate, Jeremias Gregory Van Neel, received 467 votes, securing his position as the winner in the constituency. The Landless People's Movement (LPM) candidate, Brikida Gerlendes Afrikaner, garnered 348 votes, coming in second place. Meanwhile, Independent Candidate Anna Justine Garoes received 39 votes.

A total of 854 votes were counted in the election, marking the completion of the electoral process in the Gibeon Constituency. The announcement of the results signifies the conclusion of the regional council elections in the area.
