Koup©la: At the end of April, a woman in her thirties, suspected of murder, left her home in Saaba and fled. After initial investigations, it emerged that the deceased was none other than her partner. It was then that investigators from the Saaba District Police Station (CPD) began searching for the fugitive, considered the prime suspect in this case.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the fugitive was located with the assistance of other police services, including the Central Police Station (CCP) of the town of Koup©la and through the collaboration of the local population. She was found today in sector n°01 of Koup©la and subsequently arrested by elements of the CCP Koup©la. The suspect will be handed over to the competent authorities for further investigation.
The National Police expressed gratitude to the citizens who contributed to the apprehension of the suspect. They urged the public to remain vigilant and continue reporting suspicious cases to the hotline numbers 17, 16, and 1010.
