Female Teachers in Oula Focus on Stress Management and Educational Reforms

Bougouriba: Female teachers of the Basic Education District (CEB) of Oula 1 convened on Saturday, April 11, for a day dedicated to fostering solidarity and aligning with ongoing educational reforms, AIB observed.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the gathering took place at the Oula town hall's reception hall as part of the teachers' annual activities. The theme of the event, "Solidarity among teachers, guarantees of success and fulfillment," served as a foundation for meaningful discussions and exchanges among participants.

The event commenced with the singing of the victory anthem by all attendees. Oumiata Sana, president of the organizing committee, emphasized the objective of strengthening solidarity and equipping female teachers with essential tools to address current challenges in the teaching profession.

The day featured two key presentations. Certified primary school teacher Valerie Kambou addressed the topic "Women teachers facing reforms and innovations in the education system: current situation and opportunities for professional development," highlighting the pivotal role of female teachers in educational reforms and their efforts in the decolonization of young minds.

The second presentation by Laure Sadia Sogne focused on "The need for performance and stress management in the workplace: how can female teachers achieve a harmonious balance?" Ms. Sogne shared strategies for managing stress effectively and underscored the importance of experience-sharing for achieving a balanced work-life dynamic and enhancing academic performance. The session included insightful contributions and pertinent questions, which enriched participants' understanding of the discussed themes.

Concluding the event, the teachers awarded attestations and certificates to the dignitaries who supported the activity.
