Federal Officials Inspect Development Projects in Semera

SEMERA, Ethiopia — A delegation of senior federal government officials arrived in Semera this morning to oversee the progress of several development projects in the Afar regional state.

According to Ethiopian News Agency, the group, including Minister of Water and Energy Engineer Habtamu Itefa, Minister of Agriculture Girma Amente, Minister of Irrigation and Lowlands Engineer Aisha Mohammed, and other government representatives, is set to visit key initiatives. These include drinking water and sanitation schemes, summer wheat cultivation activities, and irrigation development projects.

The visit aims to assess the advancement of these projects, which are designed to improve living conditions for the rural communities across various districts in the region.
