According to Burkina Information Agency, the event was presided over by Raouda Rolande Konate/Kanko, President of the Special Delegation (PDS) of To, and drew numerous administrative, health, and customary authorities. Salmata Biyen, president of the organizing committee, emphasized that the competition, which started in January 2026 with 12 teams, aimed to promote social peace and fraternity beyond its sporting nature.
