Ouagadougou: The Christian faithful of the Parish of Our Lady of All Joy in Titao celebrated Easter on Sunday, April 20, 2025. The parish priest, Father Paul Koussoub©, who officiated the mass, urged people of different religious denominations to live together.



According to Burkina Information Agency, on the occasion of this celebration of the resurrection of Christ, the parish priest of Titao, Father Paul Koussoub©, sent his greetings to all religious denominations. “I wish a happy holiday to all Christians, to all the people of Loroum without distinction, Muslims, evangelists, traditionalists, administrative authorities and those responsible for technical services,” said Father Koussoub©. He urged coexistence among different religious denominations.



Christian believer Josephine Yabao expressed the hope that Christ’s resurrection would bring peace and cohesion to the country. “I hope that by next year, we can celebrate this feast in peace and renewed cohesion,” she said. Pegdwend© Ganam©, echoing the same sentiment, wished for greater happiness. “I hope that by next year all those who have left their communities will be able to return and live together in harmony,” he said.



Sidonie Zerbo called for greater religious fervor for lasting peace. “Jesus Christ’s commitment to humanity must give us greater strength in our beliefs. I hope that his resurrection will bring us greater peace and social cohesion,” added Ms. Zerbo. Between songs and prayers, shared meals, and popular celebrations, the Christian faithful of Titao celebrated Easter in communion with other religious denominations.
